Know how this man from Amar Akbar Anthony is very remotely connected to Salman Khan's stardom?

Do you know his name? Any idea how he is remotely connected to Salman Khan's stardom?

He has played a number of roles, but he's probably most famous as Parveen Babi's bodyguard (cum-wants-to-be-boyfriend) Zebisko in the cult film Amar Akbar Anthony.

He is
Yousuff Abousher, more commonly known as Yusuf Khan. Though he was of Egyptian origin, it's unclear whether he was born there or in Hyderabad, where he spent a lot of his time.

Wikipedia lists Jungle ki Haseena as his first film (where he played the hero). But soon he took up playing supporting roles, most notably in Bombay to Goa, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and Naseeb.

While his year of birth is unknown, he passed away in 1985.

Now here's the Salman connection.

His son Faraaz Khan starred in a few movies like Fareb and Mehndi, as well as TV serials like Kareena Kareena, Achanak 37 saal baad and so on.

Faraaz Khan was finalized for the role of Prem in Maine Pyar Kiya. Unfortunately, before the shooting commenced, Faraaz Khan fell ill.

And Salman Khan got the role.

And the rest, as they say, is history.
